To say things have been busy the past few weeks would be a major understatement.
Now is the time of year when weddings on the weekends are as popular as wind in Chicago.
But, that’s a good thing and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a lot of great couples during this time.
This picture here is a fun picture I liked from Amy and Ben’s Wedding at the Country Club in Brookline.
My work for the Cardinal here in Boston continues to increase and a slideshow that I photographed in Rome back in March is mentioned and linked on Boston’s Cardinal Sean O’Malley’s blog, check it out: http://www.cardinalseansblog.org/?m=20060921
The fifth anniversary of 9/11 has come and gone and I had some time to reflect on how much the world has changed since that day and my personal memories of photographing that tragedy first hand. The world will never be the same again, if only we could go back to pre 9/11.
I hope everyone is enjoying the first days of Fall and the remarkable changing of leaves here in New England that is yet to come.
And finally, we all agreed on a name for our cockatoo, Gus.

We added a new addition to the family, a one year old Citron Cockatoo.
I used to own a blue front amazon before I was married and always wanted another bird around.
Here’s to the next 70 years of its life!
We haven’t named him or her yet, waiting for the vet to tell us what sex it is. Stay tuned.
Here’s a quick picture I took the other day.

I’ve had the pleasure to be part of many new couples weddings recently as well as my continuing work with the Archdiocese of Boston.
I finally had some time this morning to add some new pictures to my wedding section, here’s two below from Kim and Stephen’s wedding. Their wedding will be featured in the upcoming August 6th’s Boston Herald wedding section.
Also, here’s the link to a project I had been working on for the Archdiocese:

Here’s a fun picture from Jen and Jeff’s wedding on Block Island last weekend.
Can’t lose when you have a lighthouse to play with!

I’ve spent part of the last two weeks photographing the on air talent as well as everyday news coverage of Boston’s NECN TV Station.
The project involved producing 20 plus 16×20’s to be mounted in the entryway of the studio’s home office.
Everyone was very happy with the final results.
Here’s two pictures I took today after checking out the display.

Here’s a link to a fun slideshow I just did from a wedding last weekend.
Nancy and Craig James are a fun couple that had a perfect day for their wedding.
It was held in Boston at the Hyatt Harborside overlooking the skyline of Boston.
All the best to the two of you and the future ahead.

Spent the day today with some friends enjoying the revolutionary history surrounding Concord and Lexington.
Here’s a fun photo of some kids enjoying the afternoon weather along Battle Road in Lincoln.

Here’s what the May issue of Boston Catholic Television’s monthly magazine is going to look like.
That’s my picture on the cover as well as over 50 more photos inside. It looks great.
Great job Father Robert Reed and crew.

A lot of them are semi-posed pictures that I took of all the local people who attended the Consistory.
It was a great week full of lots of history and walking, lots of walking!
I didn’t get a chance to do the tourist thing so I guess I’m going to have to go back.
I had the chance to not only spend some time with our new Cardinal, but also the great team at BCTV.
They’ll be using a lot of my pictures in their next monthly publication. I’ll post the cover when it comes out.
Stay tuned.
Here’s one of the many pictures I took while in Rome showing our new Cardinal Sean talking with Pope Benedict XVI.
A few more weeks left before this years wedding season begins in earnest.
I hope everyone’s enjoying this great New England weather.
